Domaine du Joncas "le Canyon" - New $17.98
94 Points from Wine Enthusiast
"This organically grown wine is a very clean yet complex expression, starting with garrigue-like aromas of wild thyme, fennel and sage that spice up the core of crushed raspberry. The palate is bold, rich and yet still fresh, pairing ripe boysenberry fruit and a creamy mouthfeel with ample tannins and underlying layers of peppercorn and asphalt."
I drank a bottle of this last night. WOW. Absolutely delicious. Super dark purple color. I could smell it's aromas before I even picked up the glass. Great finish. I had 2 glasses.
Domaine de l'Homme "Sapiens" - New $17.98
93 Points from Wine Enthusiast
"An organic and affordable bottling from Languedoc, this wine is deep and lovely on the nose with aromas of elderberry, violet and dark, loamy soil. The palate is rich and toasty, pairing elderberry jam flavors with cracked pepper and pie crust elements."
Victor Berard Chateauneuf du Pape - New $29.98
93 Points from Wine Enthusiast
New vintage just in (2024) The 2023 scored 93 Points from Wine Enthusiast. I would think this vintage should score pretty similar. $30 is a steal of a price for Chateauneuf du Pape. A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre.
